AI Music Remix: Explore, Create, Share!

Welcome! Today, you’ll get to experiment with some cool online tools that use AI to help create and transform music. Your mission is to explore these tools, see what they can do, and then share your musical adventures.

Your Musical AI Playground – Try Each One!

Here are the tools you’ll explore. For each one, spend some time playing around, trying out its features, and seeing what unique sounds or songs you can create.

1. Chrome Music Lab: Song Maker

   • Your Task: Click to create your own melodies and rhythms. Try changing the instrument sounds and the tempo (speed). Can you make a happy tune? A spooky one?
   • Think about: How easy is it to make something that sounds good?

2. AI Drum Machine

   • Your Task: Create a beat using the dots on the grid. Listen to how the AI organizes everyday sounds into drum patterns. Move the dot in the central circle to explore different beat variations.
   • Think about: How does the AI arrange the sounds? Does it create beats you wouldn’t have thought of on your own?

3. Tone Transfer

   • Your Task: Record a short sound (like your voice humming, a finger snap, or a tap on your desk). Then, choose different musical instruments (like a flute or saxophone) to “transform” your sound.
   • Think about: How does the AI change your original sound? Are there any surprising results?

   • Your Task: Listen to some of the examples of music generated by the AI. Then, try clicking “Generate” or “Continue” to see how the AI creates or extends a piece of music.
   • Think about: Does the AI-generated music sound like something a human would compose? What patterns do you notice?
