STEP 3: Spend time practicing takeoff and landing before testing your skills in the harsh conditions of the Martian air.
You need to become an expert at controlling your drone before we attempt a full flight in the air. Once you feel confident in safely controlling your drone, record a 10–20 second video demonstrating a short sequence of maneuvers. You will show this video to your flight lead at Mission Headquarters for approval before beginning your official mission.
Once you have successfully demonstrated your competence in flying your drone , record a video of your flighgt sequence and upload using the QR code below. In the “Subject” area, include your first name and/or your team members’ names. Click here to see all uploaded videos.
