1. Introduction to Esports

Welcome to the OUSD Esports League!

We are excited to have you as part of the OUSD Esports League. You and your peers will be learning about what Esports is, how Esports are connected to careers, how to play some awesome games, core skills, digital citizenship understanding, and will be participating in a competition at the end of this league. We have a lot to learn about Esports, and we are so excited that you will be part of this great league.

What is Esports?

Esports is a term derived from “electronic sports” and is essentially competition in video games at a very high level, similar to traditional sports.
