16. Final Competition (3 Hours)
Final Competition Day
You and your team will now compete with your peers using the constraints that we provided earlier in the curriculum. Students will compete on each field- manual using Tello and autonomous using DroneBlocks.
- Students will need to fly the drone with DroneBlocks
- Students will need to fly the drone with Tello as well
- Students will need to travel over a large valley (5 feet wide)
- Students will need to fly high over a volcano (5 feet tall)
- Students will need to pick up the core samples from the rover
- Students will need to drop off the coring samples at the drop-off spot
- Students will need to include a map of their route
Teams will be scored on the following:
- Code in Drone Blocks
- Tello Drone flight control
- Creativity used in mission
- The time it takes to get through the course
