I. AI and Music Project Showcase

AI & Music Project Showcase 🎶🤖

Goal: Present your AI and music project to your peers, sharing your creative process, what you discovered, and your final creation.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Prepare Your Presentation:

    • Decide what to show: Will you do a live demo? Show a video of your project in action? Play an audio track you created?
    • Outline your talk:
      • Introduction: What was your project idea? What got you interested in it?
      • Process: What AI tools or concepts did you use? What music elements did you focus on? What were some challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?
      • Your Creation: Share your music piece, your AI tool, or your discovery! Explain how the AI and music parts work together.
      • What You Learned: What was the most interesting thing you learned? What surprised you?
      • Future Ideas (Optional): If you had more time, what else would you do with this project?
  2. Practice (A Little!):

    • Run through your presentation once or twice. This helps you feel more confident.
    • Time yourself to make sure you fit within the allotted time (your facilitator will let you know how long each presentation should be).
  3. Present Your Project:

    • When it’s your turn, share your screen if needed, play your music, and tell us about your project.
    • Speak clearly and show your enthusiasm!
    • Be ready to answer a question or two from your peers.
  4. Be a Great Audience:

    • Listen attentively to your classmates’ presentations.
    • Be supportive and encouraging. Think of one positive comment or a thoughtful question for each presenter.

Presentation Tips:

  • Keep it Clear & Concise: Focus on the most exciting parts of your project.
  • Show, Don’t Just Tell: Whenever possible, demonstrate your project.
  • Explain Your “Why”: Why did you choose this project? What were you hoping to achieve?
  • It’s Okay if it’s Not “Perfect”: Learning and exploration are the main goals. Share what you discovered, even if things didn’t go exactly as planned. That’s part of STEM!
  • Have Fun! Your passion for your project will be contagious.

Materials You Might Need:

  • Your computer/device with your project files
  • Any AI software or websites you used
  • Headphones (if you’re playing audio and others are nearby)
  • A way to play your music (e.g., speakers, or through your computer)
  • Optional: A few simple slides (if you like, but not required!)

Why This Matters:

Sharing your work is a big part of how scientists, engineers, artists, and creators in many fields communicate their ideas and discoveries. This showcase helps you practice:

  • Communication: Explaining complex ideas clearly.
  • Critical Thinking: Reflecting on your learning process.
  • Confidence: Presenting your accomplishments.
  • Collaboration: Learning from and supporting your peers.

You’re not just presenting a project; you’re sharing a piece of your STEM journey! ✨
