Instructions (Part I): Click here and make an account with Scratch. Once logged on, carefully view the below videos to learn how to make, record, and assign keys presses to your own customized soundboard. 

Instructions (Part II): Carefully view the below video to learn more specifics about Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cell structure. Notice which features you observed through your Foldscope! 

Instructions (Part III): Use the information in Parts I and II above to create your own, authentically recorded, Scratch soundboard program. Your soundboard should read a short description of the function of the following Eukaryotic cell structures when a different key is pressed. 

  • Nucleus
  • Endoplasmic Reticulum 
  • Golgi Apparatus 
  • Vacuoles
  • Lysosomes 
  • Mitochondrion 
  • Ribosomes
  • Cell Membrane 

Instructions (Part IV): Record and upload video of you playing your Scratch soundboard game. Type your first name in the “Subject” area. A QR code is provided below for ease of upload.
