Day 2 (Drones cont.)

Instructions (Part I): Write and implement a code that commands your drone to take off and fly forward and return 3 times. Each time your drone must increase its flight distance by an increment of 12 inches.

Instructions (Part II): Watch the below video to learn how to use variables when coding your drone.

Instructions (Part III): Write and implement a code that commands your drone to repeat your basic shuttle run  using variables. Add one additional component of your own to the code.

Instructions (Part I): Write and implement a code that commands your drone to take off and fly in the “snake” pattern shown below.

Instructions (Part II): Watch the below video to learn how to use logic when coding your drone.

Instructions (Part III): Invent and implement a code that commands your drone to repeat your basic snake mission using logic for left and right.  Add one additional component of your own to the code.

Instructions (Part I):  Reflect on the drone programming and flight skills you have learned thus far. Keeping your reflection in mind, Imagine a ~ 30 second drone airshow in which your drone take off, completes a series of creative maneuvers and lands.

Instructions (Part II):  Using the simulator (click here), write and test your drone airshow program. Make any necessary modifications before testing on your physical drone.

Instructions (Part III):  Test your airshow program on your physical drone. Continue to revise and test until your drone can complete your airshow in ~ 30 seconds. Record a video of your drone airshow. Type your first name in the “Subject” area.  A QR code is provided below for ease of upload.
