Day 4 (Game Control & Game Testing)
Instructions (Part I): Click here and revisit MakeyMakey lesson from Week 1.
Instructions (Part II): Investigate the controls for the game you created after completing Lesson 18. Using your MakeyMakey materials, build a controller for your game. Your controller should be secured in an organized fashion to a piece of cardboard with the inputs clearly labeled using a pen or tape. See the below images for inspiration.
Instructions (Part III): Gather with a group of 4-5 other classmates in a circle. Take turns demonstrating the details of the game you created and how to operate the controller for your game. Allow time for feedback and questions.
Instructions (Part IV): Spend time testing the game and controller for each classmate in your group. When done, provide individual feedback if needed.
Instructions (Part V): Make any final game and/or controller modifications based on tester feedback. Find a partner to record a video of you playing your game with your controller. Upload your video below. Type your first name(s) in the “Subject” area. A QR code is provided for ease of upload.
